Who we are, and what this is
View Clash is a guessing game played with public statistics from YouTube videos — view counts, likes, upload dates and similar. It is operated by View Clash, who can be reached through the contact form at viewclash.com/contact. Their address and registration details are in the Legal Notice.
By playing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not play.
YouTube
View Clash uses the YouTube API Services to fetch the video information it plays with. By using View Clash you are also bound by YouTube's Terms of Service, at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms, and you should read Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. Video titles, thumbnails, channel names and statistics belong to their creators and to YouTube, and are shown here only to play the game.
View Clash never asks you to watch, like, subscribe to or comment on anything on YouTube, and rewards no such action. Nothing you do in this game affects any creator's numbers.
Playing without an account, and with one
You can play as a guest. A guest is a real but anonymous account that your browser reaches through a cookie (see the Cookie Policy): clear this site's cookies and you lose it, along with its scores, and we cannot give it back.
Creating an account keeps your progress across devices and gives you a larger daily allowance of free games. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for what happens under your account.
You must be 16 or older to play, as a guest or with an account, wherever you live. The Age Policy, which is part of these terms, explains why, how we ask, and what happens when a player is younger.
Free play, and Premium
Free players get a set number of games each day, counted from midnight UTC. The number is shown in the app and can change. To stop one person taking an unlimited number of free games by making new guest identities, a guest's solo games and Daily Challenge tries are also counted against the internet connection they are played from — see the privacy policy for how that is done without storing your address for it.
Premium removes the daily limit and opens the premium game modes. It is a subscription, billed through Paddle, and what you pay is shown before you pay it.
You must be 18 or older, or the age of adulthood where you live if that is higher, to buy Premium. If you are younger, a parent or guardian has to agree to the purchase and make or approve the payment. Premium is sold by Paddle as seller of record, and Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms) apply to the purchase. If someone under 18 bought it without a parent's or guardian's permission, the parent or guardian can write to us through the contact form at viewclash.com/contact: we cancel it and refund the most recent payment.
Behaving in rooms and chat
Multiplayer rooms have a chat. Do not use it to harass anyone, to post anything unlawful, hateful or sexual, to advertise, or to share anyone's personal information.
Account holders can block a player on their friends list, which hides you from each other in both directions, or report them from the same place; anyone can report a player by writing to us through the contact form at viewclash.com/contact. Where these terms are broken we may remove content, suspend an account or close it. When we have an email address for the player concerned, we tell them what we did and why, and they can contest it by writing to us through the contact form at viewclash.com/contact. Reports and moderator actions are recorded.
What you may not do
- Automate play, script the game, or use it other than through the interface provided.
- Try to read the answers before a round reveals them, or interfere with scoring, leaderboards or another player's game.
- Copy, scrape or redistribute the video catalogue or any part of the service.
- Attack the service, or attempt to reach accounts, data or systems that are not yours.
The service changes, and may stop
View Clash is developed continuously. Game modes, scoring, limits and prices can change, and features can be withdrawn. We will give notice of changes that affect a paid subscription before they apply to you.
We may suspend or end the service. If we end it while you have paid for a period that has not finished, we will refund the unused part.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, and we do not promise the statistics shown are current or accurate — they come from YouTube and change constantly.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability to you for any claim is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before it arose.
Changing these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If a change materially affects you we will say so in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to play after that is how you accept it.
Law
The governing law for these terms has not yet been published. If you are a consumer, nothing here takes away rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
